Description

The little monks are designed with inspiration from the traditional academic and artistic talents required of the ancient oriental gentlemen. Each of them is a legacy of the traditional culture of the Far East and is a lovely Buddhist and Feng Shui ornament that brings peaceful vibes.

The four little monks are displaying their mastery of the Four Arts, namely musical instrument, chess, calligraphy and painting, which have very long histories as activities befitting a learned person in the ancient Far East.

The green little monks are practising Shaolin Kung Fu which is one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles of the Chinese martial arts. Shaolin Kung Fu originated and was developed in the Shaolin temple in China during its 1500-year history.

Red represents fire in Feng Shui. People wear red during weddings, festivals and other celebratory events as it is endowed with lucky meanings. The little monks are wearing in red representing happiness, beauty, vitality and good luck!

The four little buddhas are practising meditation which they believe can bring real wisdom.
